Team Lead

About the role

The Team Lead assists in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations while ensuring 100% compliance with all established Company policies and procedures. Provides leadership, guidance, and training to the store staff under the direction of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. In their absence, the Team Lead assumes full responsibility for all store operations. The role may be full or part-time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create, establish, and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
• Maintain and reinforce current service level standards; provide service training and leadership to staff.
• Manage customer issues with urgency and to customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure, including sales, discounts, refunds, loyalty programs, and open/closing procedures.
• Inventory control responsibilities:
  • Adhere to policies and procedures for shipping and receiving.
  • Manage price changes, markdowns, and damaged merchandise.
  • Conduct physical inventory.
• Sales floor merchandising and visual presentation:
  • Ensure proper merchandise placement and sales floor maintenance.
  • Manage promotional event directions, materials, and signage.
• Payroll control responsibilities:
  • Adhere to scheduling and payroll budget compliance.
  • Manage time and attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports:
  • Utilize available training tools.
  • Reinforce customer service standards consistently.
• Loss prevention responsibilities to protect and control all Company assets.
• Work toward a complete understanding of managing all day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

$12.00 - $15.60 hourly.
