Team Lead

About the role

The Team Lead at Rack Room Shoes assists in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations while ensuring 100% compliance with established Company policies and procedures. They provide leadership, guidance, and training to the store staff.

Responsibilities

• Create, establish, and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
• Maintain and reinforce current service level standards.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff members.
• Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customers.
• Conduct all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Meet and exceed all established sales, service, and operational objectives.
• Manage payroll control responsibilities, including scheduling and adhering to policies and procedures.
• Train and develop direct reports, ensuring they utilize available training tools and adhere to customer service standards.
• Manage loss prevention responsibilities, protecting and controlling all Company assets.

Qualifications

• An approved background check.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Managerial and organizational skills.
