Team Lead

About the role

As a Team Lead at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while taking on leadership responsibilities in the classroom and center operations.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation (classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule)
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support center success
• Be responsible for, or assist with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow Teachers
• Create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with preschool children
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA (preferred)
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $18.57-$19.29 hourly, with bi-weekly and daily pay options (based on position, education, and experience)
• Monday-Friday work week
