Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans
- Instruct students
- Evaluate and monitor students' performance
- Plan instruction collaboratively with a team
- Engage African American and Latino students
- Work with ELD teachers to ensure compliance with ADE requirements
Requirements
- AZELLA testing and other ADE compliance requirements for English Learners and other PHLOTE students
- American Sign Language (ASL) Endorsement
- Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 AND Arizona SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement OR Spanish-Bilingual endorsement OR ESL Endorsement
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

Pay
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
Schedule
9.5 month positions, 7.5 hours per day.
Location
Wright Elementary School - Speedway & Columbus Area
Internal Candidates
Transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
