About the role
This position reports to the Coffield or Powledge Metal Fab Facility depending upon the vacancies, on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Duties will include establishing program goals and objectives, developing program guidelines, policies and procedures, schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals, evaluating program activities, budget requests, and the supervision of others.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in metal fabrication or five years' experience in any production or manufacturing operation
- Welding certification obtained by completing 30 semester hours may substitute for one year of experience
- One year experience in the supervision of employees or inmates
Qualifications
To be a strong candidate, you should have knowledge of quality control standards to maintain satisfactory levels of production, knowledge of production and workflow procedures, great communication skills, and the ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Travel and Work Schedule
