About the role
The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) seeks a Physical Plant Supervisor III to oversee facility operations at Arizona State Prison Complex Safford. This role involves managing essential repairs, renovations, and construction, leading skilled teams, overseeing major infrastructure projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage essential repairs, renovations, and construction to ensure facility efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the work of skilled teams to maintain and improve prison facilities.
- Collaborate with engineering firms, contractors, and regulatory agencies to plan and execute major infrastructure projects.
- Lead initiatives that enhance safety, security, and operational excellence within the prison complex.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in physical plant operations and maintenance.
- Experience working in correctional facilities or similar environments preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Pay
$16.41 - $20.64 per hour, depending on experience.
