About the role

As the Tax Transfer Pricing Experienced Manager, a national business line role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a full range of tax and transfer pricing services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries and market segments. You’ll collaborate closely with partners and managing directors while teaming with managers, associates, and other teammates from around the globe to help clients identify and solve complex business problems through deploying a wide range of Grant Thornton solutions in a collaborative manner, ensuring quality above all, because together is how we succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and monitoring multiple client services teams on client engagements;
  • Planning, executing, directing, and completing international tax projects;
  • Providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients;
  • Maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met;
  • Conducting primary and secondary review of complicated or complex transfer pricing deliverables to ensure quality;
  • Working with tax partners and transfer pricing specialists to analyze and resolve international tax and finance issues and consult with clients on a wide range of tax and transfer pricing issues;
  • Incorporating financial information into a proprietary financial model and conducting economic, financial, and accounting analyses;
  • Working closely with partners, managers, and associates to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, Tax Supply Chain, Engineering or related fields and relevant experience in transfer pricing (evaluated by Solution Family Leader)
  • Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Tax or Supply Chain
  • Minimum five to seven years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting, consulting, or academia
  • Strong experience in tax and transfer pricing management in an integrated client service team
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
  • Strong computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

Base salary range: $151,800 - $189,750. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton's discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.

The base salary range for this position is between $151,800 and $189,750.
