TAX TECHNICIAN II, BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
Position Details
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) seeks multiple Tax Technician II positions in the Sacramento Headquarters office at May Lee State Office Complex. These roles offer a competitive salary range of $3,919.00 - $4,912.00, with new hires starting at the minimum salary or minimum of alternate ranges.
Duties
- Perform a wide variety of routine advisory services to taxpayers and other governmental agencies by phone or in writing.
- Learn and perform more complex technical duties.
- Communicate with taxpayers and other governmental agencies.
- Assist team members with research on taxpayer account history.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Under general supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator II, Taxpayers’ Rights Advocates Office, the Tax Technician (TT) II learns and performs more complex technical duties. The incumbent will assist team members with research on taxpayer account history and will perform other related duties as necessary.
Special Requirements
- Fingerprinting and background investigation required.
- Eligible for partial telework for eligible candidates residing in California.
