Schedule

  • Project Management and Coordination

    • Leads the project planning and implementation of project plans of technology development projects within the Tax Digital Transformation and Innovation portfolio
    • Works closely with the Product Manager and Deployment Lead to ensure project alignment with product objectives and company goals are being met in accordance with agreed upon project plans
    • Utilizes a hybrid project management approach, incorporating elements of both waterfall and agile methodologies, to effectively manage project timelines, scope, and resources
    • Reviews and analyzes project financials and budget to actual projections
    • Employs project management tools and software to track project progress, manage resources, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
    • Facilitates communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables
    • Identifies and manages project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project success
    • Ensures project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle
    • Counsels team members as required

  • Oversees team members as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business or Information Technology, preferred
  • Experience with project management, mentoring teams, and software development lifecycle, required
  • Five (5) years of experience serving as a project manager, project coordinator, or similar role, with a focus on technology development projects, preferred
  • Experience working in the tax or accounting professional services industry tax, preferred
  • Experience working with multinational teams, preferred
  • License/Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certified, preferred; Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner, preferred
  • Software Proficient with project management tools, required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Strong organizational skills, specifically the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and disciplined person that is passionate about collaborating and coaching others

  • Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
  • National Range: $100,000 - $175,000
  • Maryland Range: $100,000 - $175,000
  • NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $100,000 - $175,000
