Tax Credit Senior Counsel

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for maximizing tax credits and other incentives
• Assist in the structuring and negotiation of transactions involving tax credits and other incentives
• Provide legal advice and guidance on tax credit compliance and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies
• Advise clients on the strategic use of tax credits and other incentives to achieve their financial goals

Requirements

• At least eight years of tax credit experience
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Compensation range: $130,000 - $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
