About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing tax credits and other incentives
- Assist with the structuring and negotiation of transactions involving tax credits and other incentives
- Provide legal advice and guidance on tax credit programs and compliance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies
- Prepare and review documents related to tax credit transactions
- Stay current with changes in tax credit laws and regulations
Requirements
- At least eight years of tax credit experience
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Pay
Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $160,000 - $250,000 and in Illinois and Minnesota is $130,000 - $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
