About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing tax credits and other incentives
- Assist in the structuring and negotiation of transactions involving tax credits and other incentives
- Provide legal advice and guidance on tax credit compliance and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Advise on the tax implications of real estate investments and financing arrangements
Requirements
- At least eight years of tax credit experience
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
