About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on tax credit strategies.
- Draft and negotiate tax credit-related agreements.
- Manage and analyze tax credit transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying.
- At least eight years of tax credit experience.
- Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in tax law and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
