Tax Credit Senior Counsel

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on complex tax credit transactions
• Work closely with clients to identify and secure tax credits
• Provide strategic advice on tax credit opportunities and compliance
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize tax credit benefits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Requirements

• At least eight years of tax credit experience
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying
• Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $160,000 - $250,000 and in Illinois and Minnesota is $130,000 - $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
