TARCES Software Developer: Multiple Levels

About the role

Torch Technologies is seeking a TARCES Software Developer to join our team supporting the Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES).

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and maintain computer and network software applications
• Analyze user requirements and develop software solutions to support operational and business needs
• Enhance and update existing software capabilities to improve performance and functionality
• Support integration of hardware and software systems and assist with technical specifications and requirements
• Maintain and support databases and coordinate development activities with cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support as needed

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret/clearance is required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field with 3+ years of related experience
• Associate degree in computer science, IT, or a related field with 7+ years of related experience
• High School diploma with 9+ years of related experience

Skills

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

$88,000-$243,000 (Hiring at multiple levels)
