TARCES Technical Writer: Multiple Levels
About the role
Torch Technologies is seeking a TARCES Technical Writer to join our team supporting the Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES).
Responsibilities
- Develop and write technical documentation, including equipment manuals, appendices, and operating and maintenance instructions.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly written materials.
- Aid with document layout and formatting to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Review and update technical content to reflect system or procedural changes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance is required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field with 3+ years of related experience
- Associate degree in business or a related field with 7+ years of related experience
- High School diploma with 9+ years of related experience
Skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly materials
- Experience with document layout and formatting
- Knowledge of system or procedural changes
