About the role

Talent and Operations owns how Ornn hires and how Ornn runs. You lead recruiting end to end, from sourcing and outreach to interviews and close, and you set the bar for who joins the company. You also keep the internal machine running, the New York office, vendor relationships, and the systems a fast-growing team depends on.

What You'll Do

  • Own recruiting end to end, from sourcing and outreach through interviews, offers, and close, across every team at Ornn.
  • Lead and standardize the interview process, setting a consistent bar and building the hiring playbook as the team grows.
  • Scale the New York office and manage vendor relationships, from space and equipment to the tools and services the team runs on.
  • Build the operational foundation across onboarding, internal systems, and day-to-day coordination so the company moves fast.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years in talent, recruiting, or operations, with a track record of building teams at fast-growing companies.
  • A relationship-driven approach to hiring, with the judgment to attract, assess, and close senior talent.
  • Strong operational instincts across vendors, tools, and internal process, with the discipline to keep a scaling team organized.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in financial services, trading, or capital markets.
  • Experience recruiting technical or quantitative talent.
  • Experience standing up or scaling an in-person office.
