The temporary Talent Advisory Assistant provides broad administrative and operational support across the Global Talent Advisory team. Core responsibilities span time and absence management, compliance, and general HR operations. The position also supports employee relations and assists with global performance management processes. Job Description Time and Absence Manage weekly and semi-monthly Time and Absence close processes; monitor completion and escalate issues as needed. Support training for non-exempt employees on timecard entry expectations and process.Assist with creating, updating, and distributing Time and Absence materials and communications (guides, reminders, quick-reference tools, etc.) Compliance Support I-9 processing (and related documentation collection/tracking) in accordance with Firm process and legal requirements; provide process support and backup coverage as needed.Provide visa/immigration administrative support to the Talent Advisory team (e.g., gathering information, tracking status, coordinating with internal stakeholders and/or vendors as applicable.Process all U.S. employment verifications and EMEA compensation confirmation requests, including drafting and issuing verification of employment letters.Respond to background check vendor verifications accurately promptly.Escalate and coordinate with others on the Talent Advisory team to respond to government-based verification requests as needed. Department Operations and HRIS Support Provide general administrative support to the team across Global Talent Advisory programs and initiatives. Serve as first responder for the Talent Advisory inbox: triage requests, route items to the appropriate owner, and track requests through to completion.Run basic to intermediate Workday reports including exporting data for internal stakeholders.Maintain appropriate trackers and documentation related to leavers and flexible work arrangements. Support recurring reporting Talent Advisory reporting needs (i.e. compliance related tracking, employee changes, Time and Absence, etc.)Provide administrative support to the Global Talent Team within the Policy Hub including document organization and updates. Employee Relations Process all voluntary terminations and see the process through to completion. Support overpayments audit weekly with report and consistent review of data.Assist the Associate Director with separation agreement administration and related process coordination. Performance Management Support Provide administrative support for global performance management processes including preparation and distribution of performance-related materials and communications.Support performance management activities in both Workday and viEval systems – including updating data and running and sharing reports as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be consideredPHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification is a plus1-3 years of experience in an HR operations, coordinator, or talent advisory support role, preferably in a law firm or professional services environmentPrior experience with time and absence processes, I-9 compliance, E-Verify, employment verifications, and drafting verification of employment letters Required Technical Skills Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (V-Lookup/X-Lookup, Pivot Tables, data organization)Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Track ChangesComfort maintaining HR trackers, documentation, and policy materials Administrative, Communication & Interpersonal Skills Strong inbox management, prioritization, and multi-process coordination skillsAttention to detail in documentation, compliance tracking, and invoice/expense reconciliationClear, professional written communication skills; experience drafting letters, guides, and reference materialsAbility to follow up effectively and support process training for non-exempt employeesDiscretion and sound judgment when handling confidential HR matters, with the ability to escalate appropriatelyCollaborative, customer service-oriented mindset; comfortable supporting a global Talent Advisory team Additional Job Description At the time of this posting, the salary range for this position in New York is $30.00 to $34.00 hourly. Actual compensation is commensurate with job related knowledge, skills, experience and location of the position.
