About the role
Location: Ridge, NY
Schedule: Full-Time; Monday–Friday (8:30 AM–5:00 PM)
Responsibilities
- Review and assess a high volume of resumes in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and update recruitment databases.
- Draft, post, and maintain job advertisements across multiple platforms.
- Create knockout questions for new job postings.
- Track and collect data on upcoming job fairs and recruitment events.
- Attend job fairs and represent the organization as needed.
- Follow up with hiring managers and track feedback in real time.
- Extend verbal job offers to selected candidates.
- Submit and process new hire forms.
- Support additional hiring managers and new openings as needed.
- Provide coverage for team members during planned and unplanned absences.
- Assist with general recruitment duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- 1-2 years of recruitment experience (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
- Knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition best practices
- Flexibility in work hours, including occasional early mornings/evenings
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for job fairs and recruitment events
