About the role
SkyHop Global is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Recruiter to support our growing nationwide operation. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a blend of high-volume hiring, strategic sourcing, and field recruiting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of positions, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for both high-volume and niche roles.
- Build talent pipelines through networking, referrals, job boards, social media, community partnerships, and direct sourcing activities.
- Travel to field locations nationwide to support hiring events, market launches, recruiting initiatives, and operational staffing needs.
- Partner closely with operations leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring challenges, and market conditions.
- Conduct phone screens, interviews, candidate assessments, and hiring recommendations.
- Cook up and participate in hiring events, job fairs, community outreach activities, and open interview sessions.
- Coordinate and maintain a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and pipeline health using the applicant tracking system.
- Develop creative recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill and specialized positions in competitive labor markets.
- Support employer branding initiatives to increase awareness of SkyHop Global as an employer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, company policies, and recruiting best practices.
Requirements
- Three (3) or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including high-volume/niche recruiting environments.
- Experience recruiting for transportation, logistics, aviation, hospitality, operations, field service, or similar industries preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and filling difficult-to-recruit positions.
- Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, social media recruiting tools, and recruiting technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
