About the role

This role partners with hiring managers to turn passive prospects into high-impact hires, working closely to facilitate recruiting processes and provide consultation on best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with hiring managers, internal, and external constituencies to understand and convey SIUE’s mission, employer brand, and reasons to attract talent.
  • Own all talent acquisition process components including job postings, sourcing, screening, search committee/interview guidance, offers, ATS usage/compliance, approvals, forms, and documentation.
  • Search for candidates using various tools such as ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, Job Boards, Niche Communities, Career and/or Networking Events, Direct Sourcing, Talent Market Research, Social Network Mediums, etc.
  • Identify, attract, and start conversations with the right talent by crafting personalized messages to passive candidates.
  • Monitor response rates, sourcing channels, and pipeline quality, analyze recruitment metrics, and evaluate recruitment strategies, resources, and tools.
  • Proactively explore and recommend new ideas and solutions to solve current and potential talent acquisition challenges.

Requirements

Minimum acceptable qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration, Management, Organizational Administration, Public Administration, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience performing professional-level human resources duties.
  • One (1) year (12 months) of talent acquisition/recruiting experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS), sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed), and additional industry-standard talent acquisition systems, tools, and processes.

Qualifications

Additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position may be required.

$34.44 per hour (based on 37.5 hours per week)

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 (37.5 Hours Per Week)
