Summary Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets. Mr. Greens is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Recruiter/onboarding specialist. In this position, you will play a vital role in the Human Resources department of the company. The position is responsible for recruiting candidates for open positions, maintaining an active candidate pipeline, conducting candidate screenings, and working with managers to bring in the most qualified candidates. This role primarily works with delivery driver and warehouse positions but also recruits for open administrative and office positions. Accountabilities Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.Develop and release job postings on platforms such as social media and job boards.Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business.Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation.Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal database.Manages electronic new hire Onboarding system.Screen candidate applications, conduct phone interviews, and arrange in person interviews between the applicant and the hiring managerAssist the hiring manager with ordering company equipment such as cell phones, pay cards and e-mail addressSending out new hire welcome packets containing required payroll forms, i-9s, benefits information, and other basic company information;Arrange for new hires to complete pre-employment drug test and DOT physical if applicableProvide and document the required safety and compliance training for the new team member to begin his/her assignmentPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required Skills and Qualifications2+ years’ experience in recruitment or human resourcesExceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust be able to work in a dynamic environment Experience using HRIS- Paycom (preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Physical Demands/ Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
