What You’ll Do
Lead dynamic training sessions with UDT’s threat-based reality simulator, force-on-force courses, and indoor/outdoor live-fire ranges.
Teach firearm safety, handling, and shooting techniques to individuals and groups, from beginners to advanced shooters.
Instill safety protocols, ensuring every participant masters the rules and respects the power of firearms.
Maintain training equipment and uphold a secure range environment during all sessions.
Assess student performance, offering clear feedback to boost their skills and confidence.
Stay ahead of industry trends, new gear, and techniques to keep UDT’s curriculum world-class.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years as a firearms instructor or law enforcement officer
- Mastery of UDT’s in-depth curriculum
- Deep knowledge of firearm safety, handling, and operation across handguns, rifles, and shotguns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse learners
- Comfort teaching in high-energy simulator, force-on-force, and outdoor range settings
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with precision and calm under pressure
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NRA, USCCA, AZPOST) and licenses—or willingness to obtain them
