Tactical Training Instructor

What You’ll Do

• Lead dynamic training sessions with UDT’s threat-based reality simulator, force-on-force courses, and indoor/outdoor live-fire ranges.
• Teach firearm safety, handling, and shooting techniques to individuals and groups, from beginners to advanced shooters.
• Install safety protocols, ensuring every participant masters the rules and respects the power of firearms.
• Maintain training equipment and uphold a secure range environment during all sessions.
• Absess student performance, offering clear feedback to boost their skills and confidence.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, new gear, and techniques to keep UDT’s curriculum world-class.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours/week. Note: Our facility opens soon.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years as a firearms instructor or law enforcement officer.
• Mastery of UDT’s in-depth curriculum (we’ll train you to deliver it flawlessly).
• Deep knowledge of firearm safety, handling, and operation across handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse learners.
• Comfort teaching in high-energy simulator, force-on-force, and outdoor range settings.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with precision and calm under pressure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NRA, USCCA, AZPOST) and licenses—or willingness to obtain them.
