Responsibilities

  • Provides superior guest service and develops quality players through personal interaction and relationship marketing.
  • Ensures that all table games employees are providing optimum service to all guests at all times.
  • Affirms the technical proficiency of all table games employees through development and effective training.
  • Provides direction, guidance and supervision to all employees in the table games department creating an atmosphere which is conducive to a quality work life for the employee.
  • Possesses knowledge of the Illinois Gaming rules and regulations including Currency Transaction Reporting and implements the same.
  • Observes and analyzes the integrity of all table games activity.
  • Mediates and solves problems for guests and employees.
  • Supervises the appropriate issuance of credit and player tracking, maintains table games bankroll, prepares periodic reports, performance appraisals and responds to customer inquires.
  • Builds a rapport and coordinates daily functions with support service departments.
  • Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures, including good game security.
  • Guest service oriented, with excellent employee relation skills.
  • Flexible in schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Position requires 40% standing, 50% walking, 10% sitting.
  • Requires some pushing & reaching overhead, kneeling & climbing, bending, twisting and stooping.
  • Must be able to maneuver around the casino and other areas.
  • Requires manual dexterity to handle and collect cards and chips.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
  • Must be able to walk and be on feet for long periods of time.
  • Auditory range must include immediate environment, clear vision for near and medium distances, as well as, good peripheral vision.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Shift Details

  • Swing Shift: 6:00PM - 4:00AM.
