Essential Functions

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Northern Indiana Casino their choice for gaming entertainment.
  • Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Directly supervises dealer responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work.
  • Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines team members.
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Rates and tracks guests play.
  • Affords assistance to guests in obtaining a marker.
  • Makes sure buy-ins are correct.
  • Insures adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.

Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Attends seminars when needed.

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Three years table games experience is required.
  • Two years in a Dual-Rated management level capacity or above is preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry is strongly preferred.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Hard Rock operations.
  • Policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.

Skills

  • Ability to calculate figures and create and manipulate spreadsheets to produce reports.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
