Job Summary

The Systems Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of the organization's network, server, virtualization, storage, and backup environments. This role ensures the reliability, security, scalability, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure through hands-on administration, deployment, and continuous improvement. The position also provides Tier 3 support for business and manufacturing operations and supports disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support network, server, storage, backup, and virtualization infrastructure.
  • Perform physical installation, racking, cabling, and deployment of network, server, and storage equipment in data center environments.
  • Configure and support Layer 2 switching and assist with Layer 3+ troubleshooting and escalation.
  • Administer Windows Server, file servers, print servers, IIS, and related infrastructure services.
  • Partner with development teams to support application hosting, deployment, and operational requirements.
  • Manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, including security, backups, reporting services, integration services, and general administration.
  • Support software deployment, operating system imaging, patch management, and endpoint management processes.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions and perform disaster recovery testing, execution, and documentation updates.
  • Maintain infrastructure asset inventories, technical documentation, and data center standards.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for users, business applications, and manufacturing systems.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSI networking concepts and Layer 2 switching technologies.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, Azure Local, or similar virtualization platforms.
  • Experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Cisco CLI.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server environments, including security, backup and recovery, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL query development.
  • Experience administering enterprise backup solutions and supporting disaster recovery processes (Rubrik or equivalent preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise server and storage hardware, preferably Dell.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft MCP/MCSA, or ITIL.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting production operations.
  • Experience working within Agile teams and methodologies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
