Systems Analyst Sr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain existing in-house ERP applications in ASP.NET (C# and VB)
• Create and maintain ERP applications
• Work with users to identify program changes or advancements needed
• Assist all users using troubleshooting, research and case study techniques
• Perform function improvement analysis
• Develop logic required for processing
• Program the application system according to Company standards
• Test and debug system changes or additions prior to implementation
• Aid with special projects and other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and three (3) years of related programming and analysis experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Possess excellent knowledge of ASP.NET C# and VB
• Knowledge of AS400 iSeries (CLP, RPG, ILE, SQL, Query, OS400 DB2), Java preferred
• Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups (including managers and employees)
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Reasoning Abilities

• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
