Systems Administrator 2 with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Supports implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and associated processes.
• Provides support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) issues.
• Communicates status to agency management and internal customers.
• Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components, enhancing system reliability and performance.
• Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
• Provides in-depth trouble-shooting and analysis for IT systems.
• Delivers detailed feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
• Ensures the smooth operation and efficient use of IT resources.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
