About the Role

You will serve as the Senior System Administrator with extensive experience supporting Windows based desktops, laptops, and virtual server environments. Manage and maintain production and development virtual servers, including monthly patch compliance, software update testing and deployment, and PKI certificate lifecycle activities. Oversee the installation, packaging, testing, and rollout of customer specific applications across a large fleet of workstations. Provide comprehensive hardware and software support for distributed computing assets, ensuring regular updates, account provisioning, and individual system accountability. Administer the end to end procurement process for software and hardware, handling purchase requests, coordinating with program management, logging tasks, and maintaining full documentation in JIRA and Confluence. Operate a standalone laboratory environment, managing isolated devices, performing data migrations, installing operating systems, and preparing for future network integration—all documented in the standard knowledge bases. Maintain calendar and scheduling resources for the team, acting as the primary point of contact for shared drive access and related support issues. Conduct secure file transfer operations, ensuring that transfer appliances are kept current with security patches and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Fifteen (15) years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Four (4) years of additional SA experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Candidate must maintain an IAT level II certification, per DoD Directive 8570.01-M.
  • Possess & Maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph within the last 5 years.

Benefits

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
