System Analyst, Enterprise Applications - Atlanta, GA
About the role
As a System Analyst, you will provide key support to the Enterprise Applications team in the ongoing optimization, configuration, and administration of Cortland's enterprise finance and procurement applications. You will document business requirements, develop functional solutions, facilitate testing and release activities, and provide production support across key platforms. Leveraging strong analytical skills and deep system knowledge, you will help improve business processes, enhance system performance, and ensure enterprise applications effectively support operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Documentation and Solutioning
- Attend meetings and initiative discussions, documenting problems, requirements, and decisions in real time.
- Create requirements documentation and functional design documents as primary owner.
- Participate actively in solution design discussions, contributing ideas and options.
- Draft solution write-ups and supporting documentation for review.
- System Configuration and Support
- Perform regular system configuration and administration across finance and procurement systems.
- Provide production troubleshooting support.
- Support release management activities.
- Lead testing coordination.
- System Knowledge
- Build and maintain deep working knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O and Coupa.
- Track open items and gaps across initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience as a systems analyst, application support analyst, or similar role, ideally within finance or procurement systems.
- Hands-on configuration and administration experience with an ERP or source-to-pay platform; Dynamics 365 F&O or Coupa experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong independent judgment and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable operating in real time in live meetings, documenting and thinking alongside senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with strong ownership of documentation accuracy and follow-through.
- Able to move fluidly between hands-on system work and stakeholder conversations.
