General Summary
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer with extensive knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, databases, and technical aspects of Microsoft Power Platform tools. The role involves leveraging Power BI and Power Apps tools to transform raw data into meaningful applications and visualizations that help departments monitor performance, track trends, and identify opportunities for improvement. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with Power BI and Power Apps tools is required. Extensive knowledge of database management, data modeling, business intelligence, SQL querying, OLAP, and data warehousing is essential.
Principal Accountabilities
- Determines solutions for process failures and integrity issues.
- Interfaces with other application analysts to resolve programming or data problems.
- Designs, codes, tests, and debugs programs/applications of varying complexity.
- Develops and maintains applicable procedures associated with assigned applications.
- Ensures business processes and rules are captured within software application features.
- Writes functional specifications and develops validation and verification plans.
- Affixes final test results and receives signoff from data stakeholders.
- Assists in implementing changes and coordinates with end users and technical resources as needed; points person for reviewing changes with IS Leadership/Work Management team for authorization for production change and scheduling.
- Documents any required workflow changes associated with upgrades.
- Develops, maintains, and communicates change management plans.
- Provides general and application-specific technical support to customers to ensure the availability and continuity of business applications or programs in the production environment.
Required Education and Experience
- Application Systems Analyst IV: Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a computer discipline and eight years of directly related IT experience in application programming and analysis. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered on a one-to-one basis. A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Application Systems Analyst III: Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a computer discipline and five years of directly related IT experience in application programming and analysis. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered on a one-to-one basis. A high school diploma or GED is required.
PAY RANGE
- Application Systems Analyst IV: Salary range $122,681 - $184,021 Midpoint: $153,351
- Application Systems Analyst III: Salary range $106,670 - $160,006 Midpoint: $133,338
