Application System Analyst

About the Role

The Application System Analyst I will evaluate, plan, design, and configure software application systems. This position assists with analyzing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining installed systems and support users. The position creates documentation to support system design, testing and training. The position will also assist with the management of customer expectations and customer interactions and participate in service quality initiatives.

Focus Area

This position focuses on Inpatient Projects, requiring 3 Epic certifications of Clindoc/Orders/OTX certifications. Project go lives and support last for 1-2 weeks following a project and then handed off to support.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, design, and configure software application systems
• Analyze, test, troubleshoot and maintain installed systems
• Support users of software application systems
• Create documentation to support system design, testing and training
• Manage customer expectations and customer interactions
• Participate in service quality initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree OR 2 years in information technology or healthcare
• Required certifications for role will be obtained within a 6 month timeframe from date of hire and limited to 3 test attempts per certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare or other closely related field
• Previous work related experience in healthcare industry
• Experience with key OSF applications

Pay

Expected pay for this position is $29.36 - $34.55/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
