Responsibilities
- Supports implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems.
- Supports IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 and Tier 3 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Performs account management, such as establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
- Provides configuration management, implementation, and sustainment of compliance with applicable system security controls.
- Performs periodic vulnerability scans of systems.
- Implements IAVA security patches and ensures patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record.
- Supports the ISO by completing required milestones of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) as directed and coordinates completion status with the ISSO to reflect status within the Source System of Record for Security Authorizations.
- Ensures IT assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policy.
- Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Applies knowledge and understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling).
- Supports the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Possesses a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Qualifications
- Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Requires DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification, and Computing Environment (CE) Certification. The CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with either Microsoft OS, Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications.
- Eight (8) years of experience with Service Management (ITSM) is required.
- ITIL 4 platform certification is required.
- If assigned to Directory Services TTOs, experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management (PAM) Services, and MS Exchange are required.
- If assigned to Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs, understanding of the concepts of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling) is required.
