About the role
The System Administrator 2 position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes managing server operations, network administration, and ensuring data security.
Responsibilities
- Manage server operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Administer network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot system issues.
- Perform routine security audits and implement security measures to protect company data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using tools such as Microsoft Office, VMware, and Cisco products.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies and containerization.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
