Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom lessons and practical training on CNC mills, lathes, and/or Swiss machines.
- Teach G-code programming, CAM software usage, and blueprint reading.
- Instruct on precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers, plus GD&T standards.
- Adapt teaching methods to support different skill levels and learning styles.
- Ensure training methods and style remain effective and up to date through self-assessment, feedback, research, and attending educational training sessions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience teaching or working on CNC equipment (lathes, mills, and/or Swiss machines).
- 2+ years in a manufacturing machining environment.
- Hands-on experience using CNC equipment and knowledge of manufacturing policies and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
