Swiss CNC Applications Engineer Hartford, CT | $85,000 to $140,000 We're hiring a Swiss CNC Applications Engineer to join a leading machine tool company supporting customers across turnkey projects, technical training, and pre-sale engineering for Swiss style lathes and other CNC machining equipment. This is a hands on, customer facing role for someone who knows Swiss (sliding headstock) CNC inside and out and enjoys being the technical expert in the room. What You'll Do Run turnkey projects, demonstrations, and customer related projects from start to finish, on time and within budgetSupport pre-sale activities including customer visits, opportunity evaluation, machine assessment, part processing recommendations, and turnkey proposal developmentDevelop and deliver custom demonstrations, and train customers on the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes, and multi-tasking machinesPrepare accurate cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans and specificationsTravel to customer sites for on site training and engineering assistance What You'll Need Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering and manufacturingIn-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and relevant product linesKnowledge of Fanuc based controlsStrong judgment and the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions on the spotWillingness to travel to customer sites as needed Nice to Have 5-axis machining experienceCAD/CAM software experience Compensation And Benefits $85,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time off Interested candidates can apply directly through LinkedIn or reach out to learn more.
