About the role
A CNC Swiss machine programmer/operator is needed to operate and program CNC Swiss machines in a manufacturing environment. The role involves setting up and running machines, programming complex parts, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce high-quality components
- Program and modify CNC code for new and existing parts
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production processes
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC Swiss machines
- Proficiency in programming CNC Swiss machines using CAM software
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with technical training
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Understanding of metrology and quality control principles
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
