Survey Project Manager (Stuart, FL)

About the role

Haley Ward is seeking a Survey Project Manager for their Stuart, FL office. This position supports a variety of projects primarily in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Directs others toward preparation of a professional, economical, and effective product for each individual project.
• Works closely with personnel from other departments as necessary to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
• Manages a project team and multiple projects.
• Manages contract budgets and estimates to completion and updates as conditions change.
• Communicates scope of work changes with clients, including project schedule and budget impacts, and requests client approval before authorizing or performing such out-of-scope work.
• Prepares project proposals including scope of work, time, and estimated manpower.
• Maintains general supervision over supervised staff activities to ensure technical and financial competence.
• Develops marketing and business development plans for the Southeast Region Survey Division for the Port St Lucie office, in coordination with the Stuart Survey Manager, Survey Division Director, Marketing Director, COO, and CEO.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten years of surveying experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to manage projects.
• A working knowledge of modern survey techniques, and computer programs is required.
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.
• Registration as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida preferred but not required.

• A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
