Survey Field Technician

About the role

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national multi-disciplined surveying and engineering firm, seeks a full time Survey Field Technician to assist the Crew Chief in collecting information from the field and preparing it for the CADD Operators in our Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and express ideas clearly.
• Perform field surveying tasks such as PLSS boundaries, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, railroad as-builts and construction, utility pipeline as-builts and construction, construction layout.
• Work in a team environment, plan, organize, and take initiative.
• Commit to deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and express ideas clearly.
• Have consistent work effort and dependability.
• Show attention to detail.
• Handle exposure to extreme temperatures and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel as required.
• Experience with Trimble equipment is a plus.

• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

Annual Salary Range: $47,000 - $75,000
