Surveillance Technician

Responsibilities

• Review the camera repair list and VCR tape review log.
• Repair any reported video loss or equipment malfunction.
• Keep up to date information on newly installed cameras on a VCR tape review log sheet.
• Keep a complete inventory of all used and new Surveillance install equipment in stock.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of existing video cameras.
• Stay updated on State Lottery machine moves and Scioto remodeling projects involving cash areas.
• Run wire, install struts, and perform camera installation and proper focus and alignment.
• Return all defective video equipment for repair.
• Work as a Surveillance Operator when needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical Background required.
• Available for emergencies 24 hours and day 7 days a week.
• Prior Surveillance experience a plus.
• Able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
• May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• At least 21 years old.
• Able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
• Able to pass a background investigation.
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
