Responsibilities
- Maintain camera systems for occurrences of theft, productivity issues, and security policy violations.
- Aid associates in using and reviewing video footage from camera systems.
- Use specialized reports to identify discrepancies in financial transactions within a retail environment.
- Manage alarm listings for all Rural King locations and assist associates in accessing alarms.
- Communicate with store personnel and promote awareness of Loss Prevention Initiatives.
- Conduct package checks of associates leaving the Store Support Center.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on daily security incidents.
- Support stores and customers with questions about store policies.
- Review video footage of significant events and provide details to management, human resources, and law enforcement.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Participate in team-building activities and recognize individual contributions.
- Engage in learning initiatives to acquire new knowledge and refine skills.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to others.
- Actively participate in learning initiatives offered by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of surveillance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, including active listening and providing thorough responses.
- Demonstrated ability to produce error-free work and meet quality standards.
- Experience efficiently allocating time and resources to meet competing demands and deadlines.
- Strong communication and persuasive skills to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address issues.
