Responsibilities
- Utilize technology and critical thinking to provide security for Rural King’s assets.
- Drive positive change in the lives of our customers and the communities we serve.
- Maintain camera systems for occurrences of theft, productivity issues, and security policy violations.
- Aid Rural King associates with the use of the camera systems and reviewing video.
- Create specialized reports to review financial transactions for discrepancies in a retail environment.
- Manage the alarm listing for all Rural King locations and assist associates in accessing their alarms.
- Communicate with store personnel and increase awareness around Loss Prevention Initiatives.
- Conduct package checks of associates leaving the Store Support Center.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on daily security incidents.
- Support stores and customers with questions about store policies.
- Review video footage of significant events and provide details to management, human resources, and/or law enforcement.
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
- Participate in team-building activities and recognize individual contributions.
- Engage in learning initiatives to acquire new knowledge, refine skills, and stay current on developments.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications
- At least 1 year of surveillance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen, ask relevant questions, and provide thorough and articulate responses.
- Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
- Experience efficiently allocating time and resources to meet competing demands and deadlines.
- Strong communication and persuasive skills to negotiate and influence stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address issues, minimizing potential delays or disruptions.
