Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains surveillance of the Casino and associated areas using CCTV and direct observation to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Reports any irregularities to a Supervisor.
- Documents illegal activities through video tape, written statements, and other evidence to support investigations.
- Interacts with Casino management, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Stays updated on information regarding known cheaters, counters, and scams, as well as employees engaging in illegal or internal control violations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum six to twelve months related experience in a gaming environment.
- Knowledge of criminal offenses and regulations pertaining to tribal and federal gaming licensing requirements and procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of all casino games, dealing procedures, counting methods, and cheating techniques, along with internal controls.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
- May be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
- Typically works in an office setting, occasionally in a casino environment where noise levels can escalate.
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and carry goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and possess sufficient hand dexterity to operate office equipment such as a computer keyboard, calculator, and general office equipment.
