Surveillance Agent (35716)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains surveillance of the Casino and associated areas using CCTV and direct observation to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Reports any irregularities to a supervisor.
• Documents illegal activities through video tape, written statements, and other evidence to support investigations.
• Interacts with Casino management, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies as necessary.
• Stays informed about known cheaters, counters, and scams, as well as employees engaging in illegal or internal control violations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum six to twelve months related experience in a gaming environment.
• Knowledge of criminal offenses and regulations pertaining to tribal and federal gaming licensing.
• Understanding of all casino games, dealing procedures, counting methods, cheating techniques, and internal controls.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Stand, move, and work throughout the office and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station.
• May be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
• Typically works in an office setting.
• Work environment can be noisy, especially in the casino area.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs. intermittently.
• Requires sufficient hand dexterity to operate office equipment such as a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and a multi-line telephone.
