Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient preoperative needs.
- Serve as the main resource for instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and procedures within the surgical specialty.
- Plan, implement, and coordinate intraoperative patient care effectively.
- Participate in scrub and circulating duties and on-call schedules.
Qualifications
- Post-high school vocational or specialized training for CST or CSFA certification.
- Minimum of two years of OR experience.
- Required certifications: AHA BLS and certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
Skills
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, supplies, and procedures.
