The Surgical Technologist Coordinator plays a vital role in the surgical team, collaborating with physicians, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to assess and meet patients' preoperative needs. They serve as the primary resource for instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and procedures within their specialty, while also planning, implementing, and coordinating intraoperative patient care for optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in surgical instrumentation and procedures
• Coordinate intraoperative patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned
• Knowledge of scrub and circulating duties

Requirements

• Post-high school vocational or specialized training leading to CST or CSFA certification
• At least two years of OR experience

Qualifications

• AHA BLS Certification
• CST or CSFA certification
