Surgical Scrub Tech - $5,000 Sign on Bonus

About the role

The Surgical Technician / Operating (OR) Tech (uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed) works in a collaborative environment at St Mary within Surgical Services to provide safe, quality health care services and/or assistance to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies and procedures. Must have additional training through the achievement of in-house certifications or have successful completion of role specific certification or licensing.

What You Will Do

• Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Engages in therapeutic communication and assists nurses and designated health care professional in keeping detailed records, maintaining clear communication between the entire care team and working with patients and families
• May serve as a resource (lead), role model and/or mentor

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED
• Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement

Pay

$5K Sign-on bonus (limited to new colleagues joining the organization and those returning after a year or longer). Certification required.
