Surgical Physician - Locum Tenens

About the Role

We are seeking a CV Surgery physician to provide inpatient and surgical coverage in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 90 surgeries/procedures monthly, including CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypasses, and aortic valve replacements.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for 3-4 days per week, including one weekend.
• Daily duties include inpatient rounding and surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Louisiana medical license.
• Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to cover at least two weeks within the specified period.
