Locum Tenens Surgical Critical Care Physician

Responsibilities

• Manage acute care surgical cases, trauma calls, and ED consults in a hospital setting.
• Treat adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients within a surgical critical care environment.
• Handle a census that can exceed 30 patients per day using Epic EMR.
• Provide coverage through late fall with ongoing availability.
• Provide comprehensive surgical critical care, manage trauma and emergency cases, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• ATLS certification required; scopes preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency medicine.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
